Upstride was engaged by ADNA – Arts and Disability Network Australia to publicly launch its new national network website alongside a suite of commissioning opportunities for artists with disability.
ADNA is a new national collective bringing together state and territory arts and disability organisations to strengthen visibility, connection and opportunities for artists with disability across Australia.
Upstride delivered a streamlined, high-impact communications campaign centred on a national media release and targeted pitching aligned with two key launch events held in Perth and Sydney in November 2025.

WHAT WE DID
Upstride designed and delivered a focused media campaign to support the national launch of the network and generate coverage around the key in-person events. This included media strategy and delivery, stakeholder liaison across the network, and preparing artists and leadership for media engagement.
MEDIA RELEASE AND TARGETED PITCHING
We developed and distributed a national media release announcing ADNA’s launch and new commissioning opportunities to more than 2,000 media outlets nationwide. Targeted pitching supported the network’s launch events, with a focus on arts media, national mainstream outlets, and relevant local media in Perth and Sydney.
TALENT LIAISON AND PREPARATION
Upstride worked closely with four artists and ADNA’s Director, developing an accessible media process document and tailored media briefs. This ensured interview readiness, supported confidence in media engagement, and delivered strong, consistent messaging across all coverage.
