From 2020 - 2022, Upstride worked with the Victorian Building Association to bring its inspections data to life in an easy-to-use and accessible way
The Victorian Building Authority (VBA) sought to make its Proactive Inspections Program data more accessible and transparent to both the construction industry and the public. The goal was to provide a clear and engaging way to demonstrate the VBA's commitment to ensuring the safety of the Victorian construction industry.
WHAT WE DID
Data Analysis and Visualisation: Upstride analysed the VBA's inspection data to identify key trends and insights. We then developed a series of interactive visualizations, including maps, charts, and graphs, to present this information in a clear and engaging way.
Portal Development: We created a dynamic data portal on the VBA website that allowed users to easily explore and filter the inspection data. The portal was designed to be user-friendly and accessible to people with varying levels of technical expertise.
Ongoing Support: Upstride provided ongoing support to the VBA to ensure that the data portal remained up-to-date and accurate. We also helped the VBA to develop strategies for promoting the portal and engaging with its target audience.
